Stella Russo

Stella graduated from The University of Leeds in 2024, having studied English and Music. Whilst a student she worked for Opera North and The Royal Armouries, and she is keen to use her skills to facilitate the excellent arts and cultural programme that Bradford Arts Centre has to offer. In August she returned from a 10-month long trip to New Zealand, where she had been living and working; but also immersing herself in the local culture including as a Section Leader for the Auckland Youth Choir. Seeing the way the Māori and Pakeha traditions of New Zealand have been celebrated together through art, in various forms, has inspired her to explore her own South Asian and European heritage together through the work of Bradford Arts Centre.
