About Alex Croft

Alex is responsible for leading and implementing Bradford Arts Centre strategic vision. This includes developing partnerships, fundraising, and representing the company on a number of strategic Boards and Steering Groups.
A University of Bradford graduate, Alex began his career working in arts marketing at Northern Ballet and Leeds Playhouse before heading up the communications department at Phoenix Dance Theatre. Prior to joining Kala Sangam, he was Relationship Manager for Dance in the North for Arts Council England. Alex is a Trustee of balletLORENT and Bradford Producing Hub, which he-co founded. He is a private sector member of WYCA’s Culture, Heritage and Sport Committee, Chair of West Yorkshire Music Hub and was the founding Chair of Bradford’s Cultural Voice Forum.
