Debbani Ghosh

Debbani brings nearly 30 years of dedicated leadership, community engagement, and operational excellence within the third sector to the Board of Trustees. She is widely recognised across West Yorkshire for her deep commitment to supporting marginalised, minoritised and vulnerable communities.

Since 2006, Debbani has served as the CEO of the Association of Blind Asians (ABA) in Leeds, providing vital, culturally specific support to blind and visually impaired individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds, carers and their families. She is actively involved with various community services in Leeds, ensuring that equality and inclusion are at the heart of her work.

Additionally, Debbani is a cultural advocate and has participated in numerous cultural activities in Leeds. She is passionate about dance, the arts, culture and heritage, and is dedicated to making a difference in the community.
