Bloomin’ Buds Hub 

Ellie Cansdale and Grace Wilkinson are our Arts & Heritage Officers at the Bloomin’ Buds Hub.

Bloomin’ Buds Theatre company in BD10 aim to increase access to opportunity and to the arts for working class communities, through creating original professional verbatim theatre pieces that explore working class narratives.

Ellie and Grace are working with participants from groups that Bloomin’ Buds have established:

  • Girls Youth Group
  • Art Group
  • Gardening Group
  • Parent and Baby Group

Bradford Arts Centre Hub

Claire Hudson is our Arts & Heritage Officer at the BDAC Hub.

Claire is working with participants from three amazing local organisations:

  • u3a
  • WomenZone
  • European Drom working jointly with Zoe Katsilerou

Keighley Creative Hub 

Lauren Kelly is our Arts & Heritage Officer at the Keighley Creative Hub.

Keighley Creative is a new charity in the centre of Keighley, co-designing exciting projects and fun activities with local artists, communities, organisations and businesses in the heart of West Yorkshire.

Lauren is working with participants from some amazing organisations in the Keighley area:

    • One in A Million youth group
    • Highfield Community Association Men’s and Women’s group
    • Friends of Parkwood
    • Long Lee Village Hall committee and service users
    • Keighley Healthy Living
    • Get Out More CIC

South Square Hub

Gemma Bailey is our Arts & Heritage Officer at the South Square Hub.

South Square Centre is home to ten studio spaces for a variety of artists, as well as a gallery, community spaces, archive, fine art framers, bar and a cafe.

The centre hosts community events and activities for all ages, including an ongoing workshop programme and provides community spaces available to hire.

Gemma is working with participants from a number of groups at South Square and local to the Centre:

  • Soul Girls young people
  • ESOL group Lower Grange Community Centre
  • South Square Knitters
  • Local families
  • Local Children’s home
  • Thornton’s Crown young people
  • Bradford Youth Service
