We invite you to our Jazz class with Mia Ahad on Saturdays from 1 – 2pm.
Jazz dance originated in the early 20th century, and it is rooted in African-American Culture. It is a high energy dance style which has been influenced by elements such as ballet, modern, African Rhythms, isolations and jazz practitioners such as Bob Fosse, Matt Mattox and Luigi.
Our Jazz dance class welcomes all levels of dancers with the aim to build confidence, creativity and performance abilities. Whether you are completely new to dancing, wanting to keep up with training or finding your love for Jazz again come down and try it out!
Different weeks will look at different styles of jazz such as Fosse inspired routines, Musical theatre Jazz and Jazz funk. This class is for all ages and abilities to confirm your place, please book in advance.
Jazz dance class will return on Saturday 10th of January. There will be no class on Saturday 31st of January.
