Saturdays (Term time only), Classes start on Saturday 10th of January , 10 am – 11am, Age 5+, £7.50 per class.
Join us for our introductory Kathak class delivered in partnership with Rhythmosaic. Learn the rhythmic foot work, hand gestures and facial expressions of Kathak – a traditional, storytelling dance from Northern India.
Taught by Dr Mitul Sengupta from Rhythmosaic, this class will focus on the Lucknow style (or gharana) or Kathak, which originated in the temples and courts of India, and then expand to include more contemporary themes.
This class is for all ages and abilities. To confirm your place, please book in advance.
