Celebrating the Festival of Lights

Indian Arts & Culture Highlights at Bradford Arts Centre

As the nights draw in and communities come together to celebrate Diwali and the vibrant Hindu festival season, we are reminded of how light, joy, and storytelling unite us. Here at Bradford Arts Centre, this season of lights feels extra special as we continue to champion world-class Indian classical and contemporary arts and culture right in the heart of the city.

Reflecting on our vibrant cultural journey and the rich tapestry of our programme, co-founder Dr Geetha Upadhyaya beautifully captures the spirit of what we strive to offer:

“To see Bradford Arts Centre as it is today; a thriving, world-class home for Classical Indian arts and diverse cultural expression, is deeply inspiring. This season’s programme reflects our ongoing commitment to celebrating heritage while nurturing bold, contemporary creativity that speaks to everyone.”
