Divija Melally & Saili Katebe: One Foot in the Dark Double Bill

One Foot In The Dark is a contemporary dance show by two performers who explore what identity means to them, and how they understand their own place in the world through movement and sound. The show promises to be a wonderful evening out, enjoying dance at a flexible price of as little as £1!

When we explore our sense of identity, we often aim to express ourselves through words and actions, but there is another layer to be discovered in translating our experiences into movement and dance. Through a double-bill of dances (a solo called ‘The Skeleton is White’ and a duet called ‘Six Degrees from Home’), the artists aim to express their experiences and sense of selves, not only performing what we recognise to be right in front of us, but also uncovering what goes on underneath the surface.
